Books are like an escape from this world to a different one that most cannot even imagine. But, for Killian Andresson, a sixteen-year-old high school student, books were more than an escape. They were an Entrance. Killian lived on Prince Edward Island, in Charlottetown with his Aunt and Uncle. His parents had died while he was three, then he had been living in Virginia. But afterwards his Aunt and Uncle (being his immediate family) gained custody and he moved in with them. Living in Canada wasn't bad, sure the winters were pretty cold, but he had gotten used to it over the expanse of thirteen
